Upon checking my archives today, I realized that I’ve had this blog for Ten years! That’s amazing! I simply can’t believe it. In appreciation for the support, I’m having a little Give-away. My way of saying thank you to the readers who’ve stuck by me, who humor me, who might scroll through when they don’t find too much of interest – thanks. You’ve been wonderful to me over these Ten years.
So, for putting up with me for TEN! YEARS! I’ll be choosing 3 winners via random number generator. Leave a comment and I’ll put your name in the hat. Share it on your blog, Facebook, etc and let me know and I’ll throw your name in again. The winners will get their choice of an 8 x 10 print from my Tangled Art – you can view them on Redbubble. The Give-away will run from now until this blogs Anniversary date – January 1, 2015. I’ll announce the winners January 2nd. Thanks so much – I know I can switch gears with my obsessions, but I truly appreciate each and every one of you.
I had two more sheep to make to complete the calendar for 2015 (not to mention ideas for the next calendar, but they’ll happen in 2015) and one of them was this Happy New Year to Ewe.
There is a very faint background of fireworks around her….this is of course, January’s Sheep 😉 She is available singly and in the Calendar at Redbubble.
I’m glad I was able to get them done – the last one was a St. Patrick’s Day sheep….stay tuned for that post. Of course it didn’t help that I came down sick on Sunday – fever, cough and now a doctors visit today. I know if I don’t go, I’ll be wishing I did around Christmas morning. I hear this is going around like crazy, whatever “IT” is, but I’m just hoping to start feeling better as quickly as it came up on me. This just goes to show – no matter how much I take vitamins, how much I wash my hands, those sneaky little germs get through. Grrrrr!
I hope you have a lovely, healthy, happy, Merry Christmas!
ETA: Just had my first rude comment since I started this here blog, so I guess I’ve been quite fortunate. For those of you who enjoy reading, seeing the art work – thanks for sticking around. If you don’t, just move on. I don’t tolerate rude, non-constructive comments. You’re basically just saying something for the sake of being mean. You don’t have to like the blog, my art or anything I do. And you certainly don’t have to stick around and see anymore. Carry on and Happy Holidays.
Feeling a bit under the weather – cough, fever and general ick. But I’m trying to carry on…. I made a goal and I really, really wanted to reach it. Not only is the Tangled Sheep 2015 Calendar available now…..
Tangled Sheep Calendar 2015
But I also made a Tangled ART 2015 Calendar as well…you know, for all of you who say Sheep? Eh.

I couldn’t find a new video for my group this morning, so….what’s an admin to do? Make one! Here is my demonstration on how to draw my first tanglepattern, Archer
I hope you find it helpful. Please subscribe to my channel and give me a thumbs up – I appreciate it!
My newest addition to my Sheep Tangles…..

I really, really wanted to get my calendar up on Redbubble….I’m not giving up hope yet…two more specific sheepy tangles to go – stay tuned!
My newest video – How to Draw Cirque – enjoy!
We had a bit of Wicked Weather here in the Northeast yesterday, which made for our first Delayed opening for work……I don’t mind, but the days gets crazy when it’s compressed into less hours. It gave me a little time to experiment some more with video making…..
I definitely have to drag my big-boy tripod out and set it up to overhang properly. I hope you get a little bit of information out of this one….clearly I need to work on hand placement as well, but I’ll get there. Comments, shares, likes and subscribers welcome – and thank you for sticking with me!
Well, the show went on without a hitch. The weather was really bad – very heavy rains, so I think that a lot of people didn’t venture out, but we were among over 120 vendors and we had a fair amount of buyers. We did ok. I would definitely consider doing the show again, and definitely change things up a bit – our future daugher-in-law Jess, spent the day there with us, which was just so enjoyable and she was so helpful. Since she’s very talented herself, I really appreciate the ideas that she comes up with in terms of what I can do to offer more interesting and appealing creations. And brainstorming with her, I thought maybe I should venture into the world of Youtube videos…….put myself out there before I get my CZT and get people familiar with my channel, so to speak. She has her own Youtube channel and I trust her opinion So….I made a little video.
Please feel free to share, like, comment, subscribe – I’d really appreciate the feedback. And thanks for taking the time to watch!
And about that CZT Seminar. Registration opened up and my friend Karen and I are now signed up for CZT 20 in June! So very excited! I cannot wait and we hope to be teaching our first class sometime next fall.
I really feel keeping my daily journal helped with meeting all the goals I had before the show, so now…onto the Holidays – I better get shopping!
