Finished!! Posted by Hello The Neck Down Jumper was finished and seamed while watching ER Thursday night – wore it to work on friday. I’m mostly happy with it, the underarm seams are a little funky, but I think it’s because of the nature of the yarn – I used Cotton Fleece by Brown Sheep in Anitque Lace.

I’m waiting to get my SP4 pal – I keep checking but nothing yet – with 300 plus participants I imagine sending all that out is going to take a while! But I still can’t wait.

Lois and I went to Kraemer Yarn Shop in Nazareth today – I guess you could consider this my LYS, even tho I have to head over to PA to get there – but it’s only a 20 minute drive. The shop was jumpin! Lois picked up some Sockotta for a pair of crocheted socks – oy, what a lecture she got on that – “Don’t make crocheted socks! They are too thick.” I think she made the right choice and is starting them now. Even if they are too thick, she likes thick socks – which is the point we were trying to get across to the shoplady. I’ve always knit my socks, so I had nothing to offer her, except to tell her to give it a try. It’s not like she’s going to wear them with stilletto heels or anything really dressy – just boots. Yeesh. I picked up a skein of Cherry Tree Hill sock yarn 20% off – and two skeins of super chunky to make a hat for the little one that is leaving our class this week to move to CA. He wears hats all the time and I thought I would knit him one of those rectangluar tassels corner hats – he would look cute in it. Oh, and the latest and my very first Vogue Knitting – yup, I’ve never read it before – I really enjoyed the article on Karen Allen, the actress, who’s quite the knitter!

I’m working on finishing up that Feather and Fan scarf and immediately have to start the hat. My right hand is getting a little sore! I try to take breaks, but I just feel a little frantic to finish things.

Still waiting on getting accepted to the Fiber Arts Bloggers web ring and I just joined the Begginer Babe Ring – just want to have more people see the site – love the comments – keep em coming!
