Feather & Fan I wish I could figure out why Hello keeps popping up when I’m done with it – I suppose it really, really wanted to upload this pic. Maybe now it will leave me alone. Here’s the latest scarf I’m working on with Debbie Bliss wool/cotton (magenta?)on # 9 needles- this is my take along mindless knitting, when I have a few minutes here and there. I’ve heard a rumor that this yarn is discontinued? I’m always a day late and a dollar short, and I hate when I find a yarn I love just to have it discontinued – I feel like I have to search the universe for every last bit of it now – that ain’t right! I’ve finished two scarves last week – the green/blue multi directional and the black multidirectional – This may be a gift for a close friend if it looks nice when I’m done.

Workin my fingers to the bone… Well, here is Clapotis, Part Deux. We’re takin it slow, steady and trying not to make any more moronic mistakes – there will not be any frogging on this – it is a gift for someone and must be completed! I’ve used the RiverWalk merino/silk from Ebay, it is really wonderful to work with and so soft.

I know at least one person read my blog that isn’t related to me or a friend I bugged, so thank you! My friends check, but haven’t posted yet (lois??) and my family posted but only checked once! I can’t believe that they are not hanging on my every word – I thought I was the center of their universe! I was especially bummed since I just checked and the knitting ring is closed for the time being and I had a mere week to go before I could submit my site. Oh, well, I guess this is how I learn patience.

We had a snow day yesterday, so I did lots of stuff around the house (for DH’s reading benefit) and did most of one sleeve on the Neck Down Jumper – I may finish this sucker this week! We had soooo much snow and we even had a delayed opening today – and more snow tonight, so it could be another short day tomorrow. I don’t mind it, but the kids at school seem a little out of sorts, cause it screws up their routine. But, back to me not minding – it does give me time in the morning to check stuff on the computer and knit a few rows.

I have to go on a yarn related diet – yarn related because it’s not just yarn. I just ordered a Jordana Paige purse and I’m also waiting on another order from Royal Yarns, which is sending the rest of my Silk Garden for Klaralund ( just received the book yesterday) and my Regia sock yarn. So, I need to spend more time knitting and less time buying – I’m pretty set with projects now. After the Neck Down Jumper, I will cast on for Klaralund and still be working on the Clapotis and I would like to make a pair of fingerless mit’s but I already have the yarn for that. So, hopefully, I will be able to deny myself if I see an incredible sale – muhahahahahahaha!
